Douglas Grimm, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Grimm completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biology. He then took his talents to Des Moines University, graduating with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He completed three additional years with residency training in Dearborn, Michigan with the Oakwood Healthcare System.
Douglas Grimm, DPM, FACFAS is a member of a number of professional associations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. He is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Grimm has published two research projects in the Journal of American Podiatric Medicine and Surgery titled Sprained Ankle Syndrome: Prevalence and Analysis of 639 Acute Injuries and Injuries of the Foot and Ankle in Occupational Medicine: A 1-Year Study. He has published various anatomical illustrations of the foot and ankle in medical text books and medical web applications. You can see some of his artwork on the walls of our offices.
